Evacuation is the process of promptly directing individuals to safe zones when a real threat to life and health arises during an emergency situation.
An evacuation plan is an information board displaying a schematic representation of the building, placed in a clearly visible and easily accessible location within all enterprises and organizations. This plan must be prepared separately for each floor and installed on the corresponding floor. In addition to the general building layout, an individual evacuation scheme for each floor must also be provided.
The primary purpose of an evacuation plan is to clearly indicate the exit routes and pathways through which occupants must leave the building in the event of fire, earthquake, or other emergencies. The plan also specifies directions of movement, the sequence of actions, and the steps to be taken in a specific emergency situation, thereby helping to prevent panic and ensure safety.
